A small hosting company, run by a veteran

Blokd Squared is a one-person hosting company in Stephens City, Virginia. I’m Mike Diaz, and I run it myself.

I served in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician on submarines. After the Navy I built a career around helping people and organizations in my community, including serving as a VFW District Commander and helping other veterans find work.

Blokd Squared started as a web design business. Building every site by hand took more hours than small customers could afford, so today I focus on the part that matters most after launch: keeping websites online, fast and secure, at a fair price.

I started offering hosting because I was tired of watching friends, nonprofits and small businesses get lured in by $2 teaser rates, then hit with renewals five times higher and support that never answered. Blokd Squared is the hosting I’d want as a customer: one honest price that doesn’t change, and a real person who knows your account.
